International Women's Day (8 March) | Action in the POSTGALERIE KARLSRUHE
On International Women's Day (8 March), ZeSIA - Centre for Sexual Health, Identity & Education Karlsruhe will be holding various activities to inform women* about how they can protect themselves against contracting a sexually transmitted infection.
From 12pm to 3pm, staff from the ZeSIA advice centre in the POSTGALERIE KARLSRUHE will be handing out information material to interested women*.
In addition to a social media campaign, the Baden-Württemberg AIDS service organisations are organising various local events on 8 March that focus on the topic of sexual health and self-determination for women, trans*, inter* and non-binary people. They will provide information on how to take responsibility for their own sexual health. Because only those who are informed can best protect themselves and others. In this way, sexuality can be lived in a self-determined way. Anyone who is sexually active and has changing partners should be tested regularly for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. Testing services are offered by local AIDS service organisations or health authorities, for example.
